Lake Bolsena is the largest volcanic lake in Europe, here you can enjoy swimming, peddelos, waterskiing, jet skiing and wind surfing. The town of Bolsena is a beautifully kept medieval town with some fascinating historical sites including Etruscan remains, it also has many very good lake-side restaurants and bars.
If you have had enough of swimming you can explore the area by foot or bicycle.
